Dave the Diver was first released on PC in October 2022 for Steam Early Access, followed by its 1.0 build in June 2023. It later launched for Nintendo Switch in October 2023. It fuses deep-sea diving with a restaurant management sim where players will explore an underwater region known as the Blue Hole. They will find myriad fish and valuables to bring to the surface, providing funds and ingredients to run and improve a bona fide sushi restaurant. Dave the Diver also folds several minigames into its playtime, from culinary competitions to anime-infused rhythm games, detailed in PlayStation Blog for those interested.
